CARE BY COLLABORATION
A BETTER APPROACH TO LIMB PRESERVATION
At Synergy Foot and Ankle we take pride in our limb preservation program to keep our patients on their feet and living happy, healthy lives.
DID YOU KNOW…
Including a podiatrist in your diabetes care can reduce the risk of lower limb amputation up to 85 percent and lowers the risk of hospitalization by 24 percent.
WHAT IS LIMB PRESERVATION?
Conditions such as diabetes and neuropathy can greatly increase a patient’s chances of incurring complications that could lead to amputation or limb loss. Our limb preservation program is designed to regularly monitor and treat these complications before they progress.
HOW OUR APPROACH IS DIFFERENT?
At Synergy Foot and Ankle, we understand that true limb preservation is a collaborative effort. Our care will often incorporate the expertise of leading foot and ankle surgeons, wound care physicians, and vascular surgeons. It is this multidisciplinary approach that gives patients the results they deserve.
